Parent Association

The OLOW Parents' Association as a collaborative unit serves to enrich our students’ lives through programs and activities in addition to their core education as well as the Fundraising necessary to keep OLOW thriving. Through monthly meetings, we are able to provide information to all parents, share new information and upcoming events, and host informational topic sessions. The PA consists of core officers (President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer) as well as several Sub-Committees, each of which consist of a Committee Chair and Board Member along with parent volunteers. In addition, our class Parents provide the necessary support to our children’s’ classrooms. The Officers, Sub-Committees, and Class Parents all work together to promote the best OLOW we can be. We encourage all parents to attend the monthly meetings!!

Responsibilities include working closely with all the Sub-Committees, PA meetings, PA newsletter, Calendar, assist in all functions of the PA, communication with Administration and the Board, and serve as a point person for Parents. Help to carry forward the mission of the PA.

Vice President:
Responsibilities include working collaboratively with the President to ensure the PA functions smoothly. Assist in PA meetings and communicate with Class Parent Liaison to assist with Class Parents and updates on Class Happenings. Assume role of President/Recording Secretary if necessary. Help to carry forward the mission of the PA.

Recording Secretary:
Responsibilities include recording minutes of all PA meetings, collect and organize all notices, calendars, agendas. Report updates on ongoing projects and activities. Keep Social Media current. Help to carry forward the mission of the PA.

Class Parent Liaison: Julie Devery
Main communication link for Class Parents. Organize and assist Class Parents with all aspects of their responsibilities.
